I Miss You
Today is the Oh, How I Miss You Blogfest hosted by none other than Alex Cavanaugh, Matthew MacNish, and Andrew Leon. Thanks Guys!
So, here's the deal:
Do you have a couple blogger buddies who aren’t posting as often? Those who’ve pulled back and seem absent from the blogging world? Do you have blogger buddies you are grateful they are still around and would miss if they vanished? Now is your chance to show your appreciation and spotlight them!
Click the link in my sidebar to join in the fun.
Now for a few of my favorite bloggers that haven't been around as much lately:
One blogger that I miss hearing from, although he continues to post 3 times per week in recent months, is DL Hammons at Cruising Altitude 2.0. DL has taken on the hugely successful task of creating and hosting WRiTE CLUB. If you haven't already checked it out, you MUST! WRiTE CLUB is now in the final rounds and the competition is intense.
In the meantime, though, DL you are missed.
Another one of my favorite co-hosts from the A-Z challenge last year was Tina at Life is Good. Tina was incredibly helpful to a new blogger who didn't have a clue (Me) before the challenge and was a constant support during the challenge. Life is Good, but also hectic, so I have missed having Tina around as often.
With that being said, there are many bloggers whom I look forward to reading their posts regularly.
I don't think any of us would no what to do without our fearless Ninja Captain (and blogfest co-host), Alex Cavahaugh. I'm still trying to figure out how he has time to do everything he does. Thank you Alex, for everything you do.
Another blogger that has been a constant supporter to me since the beginning of my blog is Gossip Grl at Whatever. Her hilarious way of looking at life is always entertaining.
There are way too many more to list, but each one of you who have read my ramblings, commented, and followed mean the world to me. Without you, I would be writing to myself, which is a very lonely existence.
As for DL and Tina, I hope to see you again soon. You are missed.

Hi Heather .. great selections - I remember DL but didn't know about his Write Club ... Tina is around thankfully - I should have given her an honourable mention and 'forgot'! She's amazing how she plods on ... and she's always full of life and helping others out ..
ReplyDeleteWay too many for us to recommend all those we'd love to .. it was an impossibility to select ..
Delighted you had so much help getting going - well done for keeping going .. cheers Hilary
Thank you, Heather!
ReplyDeleteDL has been so busy, but I've missed his comments as well.
Tina and Gossip girl both rock.
Thanks for participating in our blogfest!
Great posting! And def agree on your choices. I too have missed DL's postings, and I think the Write Club will soon be coming to an end. Can't wait for his postings again. And yeah Tina who was a big help before and during the A-Z blogging challenge. Alex was one of my first 8 followers and has been a constant for a good many pausal breakdown postings. And thanks for the mention!
ReplyDeleteI know all of those bloggers. Hope to meet DL next time I travel to Arkansas.
ReplyDeleteHi Heather, I mentioned DL too! There are so many awesome bloggers out there I would miss it's hard to choose.
ReplyDeleteI like Tina at Life is Good, too!
ReplyDeleteYou are EXACTLY right about Alex!!
ReplyDeleteI think we're all trying to figure out how Alex does his thing . . .
ReplyDeleteGreat choices!
New follower here (thank to this blogfest, ahem), so nice to meet you!
ReplyDeleteYes, Alex is a treasure.
ReplyDeleteI'm familiar with most of these bloggers--excellent choices, too. I'll have to check out the rest.
ReplyDeleteI think Alex has either been cloned or has a twin, not sure yet!...sssshh, don't tell, lol
ReplyDeleteNice to meet you!
Having a support network helps with blogging a ton. I'd miss mine as well!
ReplyDeleteI don't really miss any blogs, but there are several really good writers who used to be in my CP groups but gave up writing due to financial pressure, lack of time, or just plain getting burnt out from all the rejections. I miss them a lot, but I don't blame them. Writing can be soul-wearying.
ReplyDeleteHi there!Dropping in a bit late. ;)
ReplyDeleteThanks SO much, Heather, you totally made my day. I'm working on it...and hope to be back to full speed again soon.
ReplyDeleteTina @ Life is Good
This is a super supportive writing community. I don't know how Alex does it, but that's why he's the ninja. Nice tribute!
