IWSG - New Project

I have really struggled with writing for the past few months.  I haven't been blogging, I haven't been writing, and I was starting to question even pursuing either any longer.

Then recently I had an epiphany...an idea that I hope is going to be a great new project.  It is in the planning stages and I hope to get started full force by the end of the month.  I'm excited and I feel like this is a project that I can be passionate about and totally immerse myself in.

The problem:  I can't tell you what it is!  It is going to be a long term investigation project and I just feel like in order to maintain the long term impact I am hoping it will have, I don't want to talk about it too much.

Hint:  The project will be more centered on issues that I post about on my Ocean Advocate blog, so you might want to follow there.  In general, I am posting more often there anyway.

The downfall:  I want to be completely immersed in this project so I probably still won't be blogging very often but I will still try to check in from time to time.  I have missed visiting you all but I haven't forgotten you.

  1. There was a universal writers slump that began around Fall. Don't worry. Spring will turn it back around. :D I think. lol

  2. Blending your new writing project with your passion for the Ocean Advocate sounds like a winner to me, Heather. Keep the specifics under wraps while everything is still fragile. Give it room to shift around a bit and settle. This is your very heart! It will be wonderful -- both process and product. Go for it!

    Hi Heather,

This the first time that I am participating in the IWSG-blog hop.

If you have found a project that really means something to you, keep it under wraps! Keep it a secret! Keep the door closed until you know where it's going and that it won't die on you.

Actually, I've written a little about this idea of keeping new ideas a secret on my post for IWSG blog hop.

If you have the time you can read what I wrote on my blog. But if you don't have the time, that's alright too.

Keep working at your project. You can get back to blogging later.

    Best wishes,
    Anna
